After cleaning & valeting boats at both London & Southampton boat shows every year for the past 10 years, working on Sessa, Bayliner, Rinker, Beneteau, ChrisCraft, FourWinns & Lema, we should know how to clean a boat by now!
Our guys are pretty good at it now…We cover all aspects of yacht cleaning and valeting, from a simple clean off when she is a bit grubby on the berth, to a full pre-sale detail valet.
Most of our cleaning work here in Eastbourne involves cleaning and machine polishing of hulls and topsides when the boats have their annual stint in the yard. With the right materials, the best machines, and a lot of know how, we can turn even the flattest, dullest gel-coat or paint surface into a respectable gloss finish. We are also happy to clean yacht interiors as well.
We have special techniques for special tasks and are quite often asked by insurance companies to carry out specialised cleaning jobs on GRP, rust stains caused by grinding fallout, or paint spray on decks or topsides.
Many boats have teak somewhere on board. You may have noticed this goes silver grey almost as soon as you have cleaned or sanded it. We have the answer, see our page Teak Cleaning, Restoration & Sealing.
