We currently look after a number boats in the marina on a regular basis, ensuring that they are kept clean, correctly moored, dry in the bilges and connected to live power if required.
We realise it is sometimes difficult for owners to visit their boat as often as they would like to check on her. Simple things like power bollards running out of power or a zip on the cover not being secured correctly can lead to all sorts of more damaging problems if the wind gets up or the temperature drops suddenly. In the summer, when you should be out enjoying your boat, you will often have to spend hours cleaning off weeks of green algae and seagull droppings.
- Check & adjust lines, fenders and moorings
- Check power, top-up if required
- Check covers, sail covers and halyards
- Check Bilges for water, oil or fuel.
- Check security, hatches, doors and lockers
- Soapy wash down
- Engine start, run in gear to temperature and shut down.
